From the fields in Flushing to Astoria Park. From rooftop pitches to cafes, bars and streets where people come out to root for their teams.
And that momentum ramps up even more when World Cups are underway.
World Cup Memory is partnering with Queens Memory to hear from Queens residents about their experiences, wherever they take place – in parks, cafes, and streets, in schools and workplaces. The photos and stories will form part of a new series for the Queens Library Digital archives.
